Paul is a real life radio legend and connection to the exciting radio era of the Sixties when as a very young man he was one of Perth’s most popular radio stars and in the middle of the 60’s pop boom was voted by the readers of a highly respected national magazine as ‘the’ most popular DJ in Western Australia.
Throughout later years and brought about through his radio connection to many of the world’s best known entertainers and recording stars, Paul became involved in international concerts promotions and has been directly responsible some of the Australia’s biggest events and concerts; a veritable who’s who of entertainment including Neil Diamond, Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, Phil Collins, Pink Floyd, Fleetwood Mac, Johnny Cash, David Bowie, Placido Domingo, The Beach Boys, Sir Cliff Richard, ABBA Jose Carreras, Diana Ross, and Josh Groban amongst many others and is quite proud to have been the person responsible for engineering the one and only Perth performance of the great Luciano Pavarotti, acclaimed as the greatest voice of our time.
In 1987 Paul was engaged by the Government of Western Australia to mount the Year Of The Visitor Celebration Concert for which he brought together John Denver, Rita Coolidge, Ray Stevens, John Farnham and The Little River Band altogether on the one concert.
As a radio producer of wide renown Paul attended the Academy Awards on a couple of occasions, Royal weddings, and numerous Logie Award television ceremonies.
Paul became a Marriage Celebrant 15 years ago and takes a great deal of pleasure and privilege in bringing couples together in the union of marriage with his delightful personal ceremonies.
